the experience
I’ve never believed photography is about performing for a camera. To me, it’s about presence — documenting people as they truly are within a moment, a season of life, or a story unfolding in real time. Being invited into those spaces is something I approach with deep care and intention.
As someone who began in self-portraiture, I carry a unique understanding of both the vulnerability of being in front of the camera and the responsibility of being behind it. I know firsthand how vulnerable it can feel to be photographed, but also how powerful it is to feel genuinely seen within an image. That perspective continues to shape the way I work today: softly guided, intuitive, and rooted in creating an experience that feels comfortable, collaborative, and natural.

The inquiry process begins with a simple conversation - a chance for us to connect, talk through your vision, and thoughtfully shape the experience from the start. Simply fill out the inquiry form (see below) & we can set up a time to chat through your ideas, ask questions, and begin building an experience that feels collaborative, relaxed, and thoughtfully tailored to you. 02. Locking Everything into Place
After we connect and confirm we’re a good fit, I’ll send over a detailed proposal outlining your collection, investment, and next steps as well as a contract so everything feels clear & intentional from the start. That way you can take your time & review everything with clarity and ease. Once the paperwork is signed and the retainer is paid, your booking is officially secured.

where are you based & do you travel?
Based in Pennsylvania, I work both locally as well as throughout the East Coast and Europe, I specialize in destination photography for couples, families, and brands. Travel is a meaningful part of my work, and I'm always open to projects that take me somewhere new.
what is your photography style?
I'd describe my work as cinematic, timeless, and quietly romantic. I'm less interested in perfect poses than I am in preserving the feeling of a moment—the movement, the atmosphere, the emotion, and the details that often go unnoticed. My goal is to create photographs that feel like memories, inviting you back to a moment exactly as it was.
what if we are awkward in front of the camera?
Almost everyone says this, and almost everyone leaves saying, "That was so much easier than I expected." My sessions are designed to feel more like spending time together than performing for a camera. Through conversation, movement, and gentle direction, I'll help you feel comfortable so your photographs reflect who you truly are.
Do we need to know how to pose?
Not at all. My approach is built around gentle guidance rather than stiff posing. I'll provide direction when needed while creating space for genuine interaction, natural movement, and the moments that unfold organically.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions can take place almost anywhere that feels meaningful to your story, from mountain overlooks and quiet forests to historic towns, open fields, your home, or your favorite destination.
If you don't have a destination in mind, together we'll choose a location that complements the atmosphere we're hoping to create.
What if the weather doesn't cooperate?
Some of the most beautiful photographs happen in unexpected weather. Wind, fog, light rain, and dramatic skies often add atmosphere and emotion. If conditions become unsafe or prevent us from creating the experience we envisioned or if you'd feel more comfortable postponing, we'll happily reschedule
Can we bring our dog/cat/pet?
Absolutely! Pets are often part of the story, and I'm always happy to include them whenever possible. Just let me know ahead of time so we can choose a pet-friendly location.
Can I extend the session on the day of?
Yes! If I don't have another commitment following your session, I'm happy to add additional time. We'll simply adjust your final invoice based on the added coverage. While I'll always do my best to accommodate additional time, extensions are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed if another session or commitment follows.
What makes your approach different?

When will we receive our photos
Final galleries are typically delivered within 3–6 weeks, depending on the season and type of session. You'll receive a beautifully curated online gallery where you can download, share, and order professional prints.
